Help Janet raise money

For participating in National 5K SCADaddle for Research - Chicago area

My Story…

Thank you for your donation to help raise funds for spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), a poorly understood cause of a heart attack that impacts mostly young, healthy women. My sister, Judy, had a SCAD heart attack in 2011 and did not survive. She did not have the typical risk factors for heart disease.

Her husband, Bob Alico, started SCAD Research, Inc to raise funds for research. We are an all-volunteer organization and have raised over $1 million since 2011. Most of our funds have gone to Mayo Clinic SCAD Research, Rochester, MN,

SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under 50, new moms and pregnant women.

Donate to help Janet raise money for National 5K SCADaddle for Research - Chicago area’s fundraising campaign.
