Help us raise money

You have been invited to join the team, Pink eFrost, as we safely dash through historic Marietta Square following strict COVID protocols for our 7th Annual Dashing Through the Square 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1K Rudolph Race (holiday race.)  This Peachtree Qualifying Race features electronic chip timing to ensure accuracy for runners.  It’s family friendly and will take you past beautiful, historic homes and the quaint shops that line the Marietta Square.

Not going to be in Marietta, Georgia on Saturday, December 17, 2022?  No problem!  You can still participate.  Join our Virtual 5K, become a mile-marker sponsor or make an in-kind donation on the team's behalf.  Proceeds from this event will support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefitting Cobb County. 

The race is sponsored by the PEARL Foundation, Inc., in collaboration with the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 

Important Race Information 

Date:  Saturday, December 17, 2022 

Race Start Time:  7:30 a.m.  EST 

Virtual 5K or Kids 1K Race Participants: 

A virtual race is designed to be “raced” from ANY LOCATION at ANY TIME! 

You can run, jog or walk through streets, parks or trails in your neighborhood/community or even on the treadmill.  Map out your 5K or 1K (for kids) and that will be your course. 

On race day, December 17, 2022, run, jog or walk your race! 

Share your race:  Post photos of you racing and tag us utilizing the hashtags on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)  ##PZΩDASH2022  #PEARLDASH2022  #RhoZetaOmega 

All 5K race participants will receive a high-quality runner’s shirt and a commemorative medal.  Special medals will be presented to 1st & 2nd place male and female finisher’s in the following age groups:  13 and under, 14-30, 31-50, 51 & above.
