The Salvation Army Fort McMurray

All programs and services under the umbrella of The Salvation Army have been in operation since 1997.  Our programs have developed and changed over the years however we have been a helping social services agency in Fort McMurray for 25 years.  As some examples: Our START program for adult individuals with disabilities has been in operation for 38 years. Our Housing First program has been operating for the past 11 years.  Our Food Services Program has been in operation for as long as the Mat Shelter has been in operation.  Our Community Response Unit that responds to Disasters and as well goes out three evenings a week to assist the vulnerable in our community, has been in operation since 2005. The funds raised will help with these programs and services.
