Help Rebecca raise money

I am running in honor of my mother Linda Amanda LeMay who died by suicide in 2003. As a continuation of my healing journey I am dedicated to raising awareness of resources and supports available for anyone struggling with their mental health.

2022 will be my second year running in the Center for Suicide Preventions Run for Life! Last year so many people contributed to my goal of running 5K for 5K and I was able to reach my goal! Running is NOT easy for me so the challenge of reaching this goal required determination, self compassion and a lot of patience as I struggled to find my footing, strength and stamina over and over. Very much a metaphor for my experience with my mental health and others I know as well. 

This year I would like to invite folks who might feel called to join our team and run with me! United in light YEG. I hope together we work toward a goal of raising 10K for this important cause! We will run, walk or roll a 5 K loop at Rundle Park at 9 am on Sunday Sept 25th.
