Brianne Gardhouse Memorial Youth Fund

On July 8, 2012 we lost a vibrant young women within our community, Brianne Gardhouse. There was an outpouring of support from the community and Brianne's family was able to implement a bursary awarded to two graduating high school students each year. After the high school portion of Chesley District Community School was closed Brianne's family chose not to continue with the bursary.  Instead, they have chosen to start a fund in Brianne's memory,  The Brianne Gardhouse Memorial Youth Fund.

Our goal is to provide further assistance to our local youth and thus improve youth participation and wellness in our community. The funds raised will assist individuals and groups representing local youth. The support can be personal to an individual or to a group that needs helps achieving a goal. The Chesley Kinsmen Club is assisting in the establishment and management of the new Brianne Gardhouse Memorial Youth Fund. All funds raised will be dispersed and directed by a commitee.
An application process to apply for these funds will be established in the near future.
