My Story…
On Friday, April 22nd I will be putting on my running shoes. The Hekkla is an annual tradition at Rosseau Lake College. Robert Carreau was the head of school at the time my son was there. He was an avid runner and an inspiration to my son Matthew and myself. His life was taken in a tragic accident after being hit by a car on November 2 2020 while on a training run on part of the Hekkla route near Rosseau Lake College.
Funds raised will go towards maintaining the “Robert Carreau Memorial Trail” at RLC which was always his dream for the school.
I dedicate this run to him, his memory, his family and the enduring legacy he left at RLC.
