Help Heather raise money

It’s been 8 years since our nurse in the NICU asked us if we wanted a photographer to come and take family pictures of us on Georgia’s last day. With little notice, a photographer named Ashley came and quietly captured photos of us as we held and loved our daughter. Our request was for her to get pictures of our baby without her ventilator while she was still alive. Ashley was present when Georgia’s attachments were removed. She witnessed us crying and trying to clean the tape goo that was on her little cheeks. She watched as we kissed Gigi and told her that it was ok to let go when she was trying so hard to breathe. She captured beautiful pictures that I will cherish forever at no charge to us. Then, she quietly excused herself and I heard her gasp out a cry just as she closed the door behind her. This is why I raise money to support Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, and I hope that you will support me in my efforts. These volunteer photographers provide a priceless service and witness heartbreaking situations and often times provide the only pictures families have of their baby.
