Our story…

I never thought a simple question like "how many kids do you have?" Could cause so much anxiety. Truth be told I have not found a way to answer this question that feels right. I always struggle to respond, but the truthful answer is 4; I have 4 children, even if I do not have 2 of them to hold in my arms any longer. Our second child we lost to miscarriage in 2016. In the span of one week we found out I was pregnant and that our baby had died. Aside from our memories we don't really have anything as a consistent reminder of our little one. In 2018 we found out we were pregnant with our 3rd baby Wyatt and during a late term ultrasound found out he had some serious medical complications. We spent time at the U of M and he even had surgery while in utero at the Mayo Clinc which is where we were told he also had down syndrome. Despite all this and an early birth by c-section he was with us for 7 1/2 weeks. The moment he passed away was the first time I was ever able to hold him since birth and it was the moment I had to say goodbye. I cannot put into words how important the pictures we have of our family with Wyatt are to us. To remind us what he looked like and all the love he brought to our lives. It also helps his siblings to know and see who he was. Please join us in helping other families have this same comfort and oppurtunity for remembrance that we were able to have by making a donation today. Thank you ❤
