Our sweet Lincoln boy,

On July 26th, 5 years ago, at 9:13 am on a calm, dark, stormy morning, we finally got to meet you, our very first child.                                                  
You were our first little nose,  

A head full of hair, 

Sweet sleeping eyes, 

And the most scrumptious toes.                                                                          

You had small pouty lips,

A faint furrowed brow,

Those soft baby cheeks, 

That we couldn't help but kiss.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Forever our babe, 

Although we're apart, 

You're a piece of our family, 

Held safe in our hearts.
