Hello all - As many of you know, I had the very good fortune to be an organ recipient earlier this year. A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer - cholangiocarcinoma. Were it not for a liver transplant my story might have had a very different ending.
I am now healthy and am re-gaining my strength and fitness every day. Were it not for my donor and the donor family, as well as the amazing team at Mayo Phoenix, I likely might not be here today.
I hope you will consider supporting me and my fellow liver transplant alumni as we walk together to honor the individuals and families of those who elected to gave us the gift of life.
