My Story…
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your past support and anything you may be able to give this year! You all have represented my JCYC community in force since SF Aloha Race 1, making me look good and most importantly promoting Equity and helping the education and life dreams of youth become realities. This year please help me raise funds for the following:
Refugee & Immigrant Transitions (RIT), formerly Refugee Transitions, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating in the San Francisco Bay Area. RIT provides free education, family engagement, and community leadership programs. Our students have sought refuge due to war, violence, persecution, or economic duress.
The Pōpolo Project is a Hawai‘i-based nonprofit organization that redefines what it means to be Black in Hawai‘i and in the world through cultivating radical reconnection to ourselves, our community, our ancestors, and the land, changing what we commonly think of as Local and highlighting the vivid, complex diversity of Blackness.
Thomatra Scott Scholarship Fund provides a scholarships to Black youth who exemplify Thomatra Scott's legacy by demonstrating a passion for supporting education and community.
