Why am I so passionate about NAMI Rockland and continue to volunteer? Over 45 years ago when my son was first diagnosed with mental illness and I didn't know where to turn for help - NAMI Rockland was there.(then called NAMI -FAMILYA).
This not-for-profit organization has grown exponetially but we continue to provide support and education for thousands of families and individuals helping them cope with the overwhelming challenges of mental illness. Programs and services are FREE to all. Help us tear down stigma, advocate to create change, and carry on our programs and services. Never have we been more needed than during the COVID pandemic.
