My Story…
I have spent the last 6 years living in Haiti and working at Bethesda Medical Center as a physiotherapist and have seen first hand the many difficulties of living in Haiti.
Getting access to quality, affordable healthcare is extremely difficult for people in Haiti and its one of the reasons why our clinic exists.
Over the past two years the cost of medicine has increased and increased making it harder and harder for us to keep our pharmacy well stocked so often we have to send our patients to other pharmacies to buy the medicine they need.
I am walking 150 miles during the month of June to help raise money so Bethesda can buy medicine and be able to provide good healthcare where it is very very much needed.
