My Story…
Hi everybody! I'm excited to once again try my hardest to walk a whole 1K in the third annual Run With Coops 5K walk in support of the Cooper Robertson Foundation! I've been training all year with my new shopping cart, baby doll stroller, and all the cool shoes my Mom and Dad get for me.
This event raises funds and awareness for the Tuberous Sclerosis (TSC) clinic at SickKids Hospital. TSC is a genetic disease causing progressive tumour growth in many vital organs including the brain, kidneys, heart, and lungs. This disease has no cure, but medical research and treatments are bringing new and improved therapeutic options. And, because of your support, the specialized TSC clinic at SickKids has been able to provide an increasing amount of much needed support for the more than 120 kids who rely on this clinic. I am only one of many children living with this disease, and I have benefited directly from your support. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
