Raise money for Waterfront Regeneration Trust

Thanks to 30 years of vision and collaboration led by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust, the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail now connects 155 communities and First Nations from Sault Ste. Marie to Quebec. Its 3600 kilometres serve both as a symbol and as an example of a new commitment to world's largest group of freshwater lakes, its waterfronts and waterways. Work continues as we expand along the eastern coast of Georgian Bay and Lake Superior.

With generous support from the Greenbelt Foundation, the Waterfront Regeneration Trust is leading work to develop a Lake Ontario Watershed network of signed routes that link the two extraordinary trails to protect, connect and celebrate Lake Ontario’s watershed. Today there are over 1300km of signed connections, creating a green net throughout the Greater Toronto bioregion.

The idea for the Trail came from thousands of people who attended hearings held by the Honourable David Crombie from 1988 to 1991 demanding more for our Great Lakes and waterways. Your donation builds on that call to action and supports work on this legacy initiative.

Thank you so much for your support!
