Help Diane raise money

Please donate to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in their annual fundraiser! I will be participating in the Pace for the Donkeys 5k trail run this September in order to raise funds to support their operations. Donkeys are some of the most mistreated animals in the world being 'broken in,' beaten into submission and forced to carry humans or heavy loads for long periods in extremely hot weather. The work of an animal sanctuary for donkeys rescued from such brutal lives is an expression of love that is unparalleled since using donkeys to work for us continues to be 'normalized' as 'they are just animals' or 'they are a pack animal meant to carry heavy loads.' A sanctuary created by humans to help donkeys live out their best lives is the best answer to the disconnection humans continue to perpetuate not realizing that the human species is deeply interconnected with other species we share this planet with.
