Help Courtney raise money

Its my favorite time of year to support a foundation that is near and dear to me and my family.  The 

MOVE FOR JENN foundation is located in Charlotte NC and their mission is to offer grants in the form of active-wear prosthetics to those who have suffered the loss of a limb to sarcoma cancer or other affiliated diseases. These sports prosthetic legs (think running blade) are not considered “medically necessary” by insurance companies, so they are unattainable for many people without the support of organizations like hers. These prosthetics offer survivors the opportunity to take back what cancer tried to take from them, the ability to run, jump, and play sports.

Most of you now know that in August of 2019, one of my 5-year-old (at the time) twin daughters Addison was diagnosed with a high grade Osteo-sarcoma tumor in her femur bone just above her right knee. Osteo-sarcoma is a very aggressive form of sarcoma cancer that forms in the growth plates around bones. Addison underwent a total of 28 weeks of intensive chemotherapy  (10 weeks pre-op, 18 weeks post-op) and had a rotationplasty.

 Addison is nearly 3 years removed from her post-op chemotherapy and she has not had any sign of recurrence. She is a survivor!!! Addison wears a sports prosthetic leg granted to her by Jenn’s organization which gives her the ability to do all the things a child her age should be able to do.  She's running, swimming, skiing, and doing gymnastics.  THERE IS NOTHING SHE CAN'T DO, thanks to this foundation!!!
