Our story…
In 2018 Dan was diagnosed with angiosarcoma in his foot. After his amputation he quickly returned to running-an important part of our family life. We were fortunate that our insurance covered 80% of the cost of his running blade as many insurance companies don't pay any amount at all toward blades and other active prostheticwear! This race supports the Move For Jenn Foundation, a foundation that supports individuals and families that are not eligible for active prosthetics under their insurance as well as providing funds for research and advocation.
