Help Karen raise money

FIVE years CANCER FREE! So grateful. Five years ago, things were so different. Learning I had Ovarian Cancer while managing a big family, working and living a busy lifestyle, was a huge obstacle. How was I gonna make this work? I wasn’t ready for it, no one is, but like they say, “you don’t know what you can do until you’re faced with the challenge”! I managed and I’m here to tell you, I kicked ass and took names! …but could not have done it without the support of my family. In fact, we’ve all learned so much. Two of my five children, (4 daughters, 1 son) are confirmed to have the BRCA1 gene mutation, the others have yet to test. It’s a hard reality but information they can use to advocate and make good health decisions. In the last 5 years I’ve also had 3 breast biopsies, the challenges continue, but I feel empowered and supported. I’m thankful for the journey, it has brought me spiritual and personal growth, a continued positive perspective on life and appreciation for each day!
