My Story…
I grew up visiting Pinery (and many other campgrounds) with my family and cousins - core memories were made here and I wouldn't trade my campsite for a suite at the Hilton! Try the Wilderness Trail and if you go slow enough, and listen closely, you can hear the creak of your jaw releasing it's from it's vice-like state. Let's give a shout out to trees for oxygen AND mental health benefits!
Also, in a time when the Ontario Government is slashing funding for the protection of the environment, and instead plowing down our trees to build highways... let's endeavour to do the best we can by our sacred green spaces.
As I find myself in a new stage of my life (foot pain and orthotics), I cannot say I will be running the 5k BUT I will walk it and I will enjoy every minute.
