My Story…
This is my third year participating in Run Against Violence. I first heard about RAV from my friend Nicki in 2020 and decided to sign up for the 200km challenge. Although injury prevents me from running at the moment I am determined to walk the 200km over the 19 days. I am supporting this cause for close family members that have been subjected to Domestic Violence. I see the RAV challenge as a great way to try and educate people about this sensitive topic and bring it out into the open, hopefully giving others the courage to speak up and not be silenced by shame or fear. I am delighted to be part of Kirrily's own team this year and very happy to have my sister Janene and my son Matt both joining and supporting me on this journey.
