My Story…
A school shooting is something you see on the news but it's not close to your home until it is. I grew up in Newtown, CT and 10 years ago the news descended on my town to cover the Sandy Hook shooting. Vicki Soto was a passionate teacher who tragically lost her life protecting her students that day. To remember the 26 people who lost their life I'm walking the Vicki Soto 5k with family and friends. The Vicki Soto 5k raises money to support high school seniors who want to pursue a career in the field of education. I'm looking for 26 Acts of Kindness to donate $10 (or more!) to sponsor my walk!
