I am walking to support the Vicki Soto foundation and literacy. As a literacy specialist this is near and dear to my heart. In addition, my husband, Bruce, was part of the administrative team that worked at Sandy Hook after the school shooting and was instrumental in transitioning the staff, students and families into their new school.
