My Story…
Nothing like a last-minute plunge! This afternoon, I'm going to plunge into the Atlantic at West Beach in honor of Patti Drinkwater, who is battling ALS.
Patti was my fourth grade teacher at North Beverly Elementary School but is so much more than that to me! She kept in touch with me all the way throughout college and helped me get my first job at Scholastic by allowing me to use her classroom as guinea pigs for my pre-work presentation. My mom also worked alongside Patti at North Beverly after my time at the school. Patti is always a friendly and fun face to see and I'm excited to support her and ALS research.
