Help Andrew raise money

I'm participating in a virtual walk/run for Camp Wendake from October 3-10 and would appreciate if you would consider donating/sponsoring me! My hope is to walk/run a minimum of 5km.

This year, I have had the privilege of joining the Camp Wendake Governance Committee who help to make camp possible.  Camp is a special experience for campers and volunteers alike and I would appreciate your support for this amazing organization! I attended camp for an evening in August and was blown away by the supportive environment created for those living with HIV/AIDS - it's a truly special place that means so much to this community.

Some more information on the camp:
Camp Wendake is a weeklong retreat camp for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers. We offer a supportive environment where campers can connect wit peers that share similar experiences in their daily lives.  Each year we welcome more than 80 campers and 40 volunteers to our camp.  We support inclusivity and accept campers of any age, race, sexual orientation, ability culture, spirituality, or economic state. We receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of private donors to support all our operating costs.

2022 is a very special year for Wendake as it not only marks 25 years since the first camp, but also the return to camp after missing the previous two years of camp due to COVID-19.  In its 25 years, Wendake has provided more than 2000 participants with an opportunity to be in “a place set apart”.  Camp Wendake is staffed and governed entirely by community volunteers.
