Help Colin raise money

My name is Colin Penuel. I am 34 years old living with cystic fibrosis. I am running the 2023 Big Peach Sizzler 10K to raise funds for Miles for Cystic Fibrosis. I have always been an active person and I started running in 2010. Exercise has had a significant positive impact on my health and has helped to keep me out of the hospital on multiple occasions. Through my running I hope to inspire other people with CF to exercise and be active as well as to raise funds to provide assistance for other people with CF to be able to afford the equipment, memberships, lessons, etc. to stay active.  

The medical advancements to help treat people with CF have been truly remarkable but there is still no cure for cystic fibrosis. I have personally felt how much exercise has helped my own health and I have witnessed how exercise has helped other people with CF. CF requires lots of daily care and the treatments and medications are very costly. As a result, things like gym memberships, exercise equipment, swimming lessons, sports teams, etc. can be out of reach financially for many individuals and families living with CF.
