While I love surgery, it is not always an option for our cancer patients. Cancer research is critical to advancing the field and identifying more effective and less invasive strategies for disease cure and control. My colleagues at UPMC are on the frontline of finding wiser strategies and novel therapies for patients with pancreatic, liver, and colon cancer.
