My Story…
The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian kids out of organized sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover those costs to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.
One month from today, I will be participating in the BMO Vancouver Half Marathon. I will be raising money for KidSport BC, because while I was fortunate to be able to play several sports growing up, many are not. Growing up playing sports made me who I am, and no one should miss out on this opportunity because of financial barriers.

Description
The skills kids learn through sports are carried with them throughout their lives, but 1 in 3 kids are being left on the sidelines because they don't have the resources to play. KidSport helps remove those financial barriers to participating #SoALLKidsCanPlay.
Through a confidential application process, KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers to help cover the cost of their registration fee so they can experience the joy of a season of sport.
