My Story…
Our sassy little Raelynn was recently diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis. I am so proud of Rae for not backing down and listening to her body when something was evidently wrong. Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a rare disorder that can damage tissue or cause lesions to form in one or more places in the body. LCH is categorized as a cancer. Although highly treatable, especially in such a fiery little girl, the disease lacks research and is common in children.
For this reason, I will be running my marathon in November for Raelynn, dedicating my finish to her fight, and raising awareness and funds for LCH research.
Please consider donating to aid with further research in LCH studies and help treat more children.
YOU got this, Rae! And we will all be here every step of the way 💗
