My Story…
On 11/12/2022, during her last training run before the 2022 Philadelphia Half Marathon, my mom had a stroke and could not race the following week. The cause ended up being lung cancer, and on May 30th doctors removed two segments of her lower left lung. So this year we're getting back out there and we're running with team AACR to raise money for cancer research.
AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) is the first and largest cancer research organization, dedicated to finding a cure.
