Fightin' for PoPi

My PoPi has prostate cancer and I raise money to help the doctors find a cure.  I am running for PoPi.  

I started to run in the Dunkin' Munchkin' Fun run in 2018 at 3 years old to support my Aunt Neeny in her first half marathon.  It's our tradition to run now together.  In 2019, we held the finisher line ribbon in the AACR Philadelphia Marathon together for our efforts in fundraising.  In 2020, the event was cancelled due to Covid, and in 2021 the Kids Fun Run didn't take place because there wasn't a vaccine for us little guys.  Last year, in 2022, my Aunt Neeny and our friend Danielle ran their first full marathon to raise money for our team, Fightin' for Frank, and I ran in the Kids Fun run.  With your support, we raised almost $8,000.00 together and were awarded the Top Fundraising Team for small teams.  They featured all 3 of us in a commercial that aired on NBC10, but I am not able to upload it here. I am running again this year in the Nemours Children's Run as part of the 2023 Philadelphia Marathon Events, and my Aunt Neeny and Danielle are running in the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon.  We will continue to run and support cancer research.

My PoPi, Frank Marchiano, was diagnosed in 2012 with prostate cancer.  It's been an uphill battle for him ever since, and he is always in the hospital.  My Pap, James Stafford, is a prostate cancer survivor.  It's important to me to run with the American Association for Cancer Research, which ensures that 88 cents of every dollar raised supports cancer research.  I want to find a cure for cancer-for my PoPi and for all of our family and friends who have cancer as well.
