My Story…
Roughly 2.0 Million people will be diagnosed with Cancer in 2023 (National Cancer Institute). Too many people have been impacted by this disease that brings brings fear, pain, hardship and heartbreak and afflicts all ages, their families and friends. In 2015 my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Over the next 2 years she would teach me the greatest lessons in life: What you do today matters * How you treat people matters * Every day there is something to live for * You control your happiness! My mom was there to cheer me on in 2016 when I finished the Philly Marathon. Today she is in my heart cheering me on as we Run for Research.
