My Story…
It’s here it’s here! This year I will be participating in Run Across Georgia with Team Sacrifice over Memorial Day weekend! We are an eight person team running 277 miles, relay style, across the state of Georgia! We will start at Tybee Island and end in downtown Columbus. If things go well we should accomplish this in about 36 hours!
While we love the challenge of the run, the reason for this event is to help raise money for House of Heroes and MercyMed of Columbus.
Founded in January 2000, the House of Heroes is a nonprofit organization serving our nation’s military and public safety veterans and their spouses. Volunteers perform minor repairs and make improvements to the homes of veterans and their spouses—at no cost to the veteran—through the generosity of individuals, civic organizations, and corporations.
MercyMed of Columbus exists to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and to demonstrate His love by providing affordable, quality healthcare for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the underserved.
100% of proceeds will go these organizations. Please help support us by donating to the Run Across Georgia organization. No amount is too small! Your generosity is appreciated and will help the people of our community in many ways!
