My Story…
I have been a runner for almost 20 years and completed numerous races during that time. In April of 2021 when I was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) it was a huge shock to me and everyone I knew. Fortunately, with the support of many great people including my amazing doctors and nurses, loving family, friends, co-workers and numerous others, I was able to beat cancer! I was also fortunate enough to be able to start running again. Running is my passion, and I've never given up on my goal to complete another marathon. I will be running a half-marathon at the 2023 QCM. Next will be a full marathon!!
