My Story…
I am running on behalf of my late friend and mentor, Derek Meyers. Derek was an incredible member of our community, and was particularly passionate about the work our YWCA of Regina does. From early on he was an instrumental advocate he was for the Women and Families Centre, and I know how excited he was to see construction begin. He believed in our city, our community and most importantly - our potential.
I hope I can make him proud by raising funds for the YW and the people there that he held close to his heart. Derek meant the world to me and so many others. Please considering donating in honour of Derek so we can remember his positive spirit while we support an important local community group.
