My Story…
This year, I will be running in support of the Mississauga Festival Choir (MFC) for their special programs they provide to the local community. With your help, MFC will be able to restart its Raising Voices program, developed together with Alzheimer Society Peel, to bring music into the lives of those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Your donation would make a meaningful difference to this special group.
Description
We value inclusivity, and aim to give people a safe place to come and sing in our community. Our spirited singing springs from our no-audition policy. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome to join us, and audiences hear the joy in every song. Within our organization we also have a youth choir called "Resonance" and choir program called "Raising Voices" for individuals with dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, their caregivers and volunteers. Help us support these wonderful programs for our community!
