My Story…
This year, I'm running 5K with my kids (Ruby & Gordie) as part of the Capstone & Friends team in support of Youth Unlimited! Steph & Andrew Ironside, and myself, all work at YU as urban ministry workers. We are each responsible for raising support for our salary, training and administrative expenses, along with our programming budgets. We've teamed up this year, as YU staff based in Etobicoke. Our goal is to raise $15,000 in support of our work across the city.
Andrew is an Outreach Worker, overseeing our Lakeshore Soccer League, a fun, affordable soccer program for kids in South Etobicoke.
Rachel is the Director of Engagement for Youth Unlimited, serving our staff and ministries across Toronto with strategic communications, fundraising and recruitment support.
And I am the Program Leader of YU's Young Parents program in Etobicoke, serving pregnant and parenting youth, ages 15-25.
We are so appreciative of your support - no donation is too small! - as we strive to see transformed youth, transforming our city.

There are over 1 million young people in the Toronto Area alone. Youth Unlimited’s vision is to see every one of them transformed by God's love. Our hope is that by cultivating relationships with caring adults who will mentor and cheer them on, our young people will be able to bring about positive change to our city – both now and in the future. In order to come alongside young people to address their unique challenges and vulnerabilities, Youth Unlimited partners with local churches and organizations in grassroots programming to foster the wholistic transformation of young people and their communities.
