My Story…
Once again, I will be running to raise funds for my Mississauga Festival Choir. I will be running the 10K race, as part of the Mississauga Half Marathon event on April 30. The money raised will go to support our choir's Raising Voices, a group that sings with Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers.
Description
We value inclusivity, and aim to give people a safe place to come and sing in our community. Our spirited singing springs from our no-audition policy. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome to join us, and audiences hear the joy in every song. Within our organization we also have a youth choir called "Resonance" and choir program called "Raising Voices" for individuals with dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, their caregivers and volunteers. Help us support these wonderful programs for our community!
