My Story…
This is my first 5K Walk/Run with the Mississauga Festival Choir to raise funds for our choir's "Raising Voices", a group that sings with Alzheimer's, including dementia, patients and their caregivers.
Please support me and my team (husband & sons) as we are walking/running for my 93 year old father who has dementia.
Description
We value inclusivity, and aim to give people a safe place to come and sing in our community. Our spirited singing springs from our no-audition policy. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome to join us, and audiences hear the joy in every song. Within our organization we also have a youth choir called "Resonance" and choir program called "Raising Voices" for individuals with dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, their caregivers and volunteers. Help us support these wonderful programs for our community!
