My Story…
Hi pals,
Queer Run Club (QRC) is running at the Pride Run in just a few weeks and I’d like your support in reaching our fundraising goal of $9000.
We’re $5000 away from our goal and all of the proceeds go towards community charities supporting 2SLGBTQ+ folks.
Why donate?
Think of it like supporting my passion project. Creating QRC in 2021 literally changed my life. It started as lil experiment and it snowballed into something bigger than I had ever imagined.
Impact of QRC
I’m grateful to repeatedly hear how QRC has positively impacted so many people’s lives and seeing QRC spawn in other cities like Halifax and St. John’s. Or how QRC has inspired r other queer (sport) clubs form.
Power in Care
There’s so much power in caring about the people in this community. It makes me so fking happy when a hiring/job opportunity arises through connecting with someone from QRC.
We’re not just runners who run in any weather condition, but a group of badass talented people out there doing cool things. We have teachers, nurses, many diff scientists, urban planners, architects, landscape architects, public office folks, artists, designers, illustrators, editors, journalists, finance and HR folks, engineers, researchers, software developers, etc, etc, etc. How fking cool is that?

Hi friends!
I’m participating in the pride & remembrance run!
I need your support, as the run is raising funds for 5 incredible non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: Asian Community AIDS Services, Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, the 519, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.
It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $300,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these non-profits are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I would be so grateful for your donation.
