My Story…
My first official, sanctioned 5k is in the bag. All the not so lofty goals have been met. I finished, didn't finish last in my age group, and didn't perish in the process. Thanks to a number of donors, the fundraising goal for both myself and urban Impact were met. So,yeah, thanks everyone. I was so impressed with how the running group came together and just created this groundswell of support. Thanks also to my best coach Beverly.
I'm excited to do this all over again next May.
in the meantime, the funding page will stay open until the end of the month. Goals may have been met, but there are still a lot of kiddoes who need love and support.
