My Story…
“I’d rather be hiking” is my response when asked to run. So, why am I running a 5k? To make an impact in the lives of at-risk kids on the North Side of Pittsburgh who are learning to put Jesus at the center of their lives. That’s what Urban Impact does, along with building skills in construction, performing arts, education, athletics, and finding their calling beyond high school. But we need your support! I’ll run if you will sponsor me. Kayla is also running, so please consider supporting one or both of us as we “run for a reason”!
I’m also dedicating this run to my friend and neighbor, Leah Ann McClain, who lost her battle with Huntington’s disease just a few weeks ago.
