My Story…
There are 2,836 children who have been identified as homeless in Allegheny County, and those are the ones that we know of. Our children are the future, and we have a responsibility to do everything we can to make sure they have the resources and opportunities to live the life that they want.
I am running for those children who don’t have a place to call home. For those children who don’t know when their next meal is going to be. For those children who just need a chance to leave their current circumstances in the past, and look forward to a brighter future.

Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
