My Story…
Hello family and friends-
Do you know that more than 2,800 kids living in Allegheny county are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity that leads to an inability to focus, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation?
These bright kids fall behind in their education, some will never graduate, and many may never realize their full potential as contributing members of our community.
The Homeless Children's Education Fund commits people, resources, and direction to our kids facing homelessness through learning and school. HCEF gives them hope and a chance at a better life.
This year, I have decided to participate in the Steel City Challenge, 5K + Half Marathon to raise awareness and money for HCEF.
Please consider donating, even a small amount will make a difference.
Appreciative,
Jen
