My Story…
Last year was my first time running in the Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of events, and I raised money for the Homeless Children's Education Fund.
As a teacher in the Pittsburgh area, I have seen first hand how a unstable home life and environment can have a negative impact on a student's mental, emotional, and physical health.
I love the work that HCEF is doing for students and children throughout Pittsburgh and beyond. I am so happy that I can help even a little bit in this non-profit's journey to help students, children, and families in their education and overall in their lives.

Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
