Help Austin raise money

Want to help me make a difference? I have decided to raise money to benefit YouthPlaces, a Non-Profit Organization committed to providing under privileged youth the opportunity to succeed.

Over 11 million kids in the United States live below the federal poverty line. This means that these children are growing up without access to basic necessities like food, shelter, healthcare and adequate education. This leaves the affected youth at a disadvantage socially, cognitively and physically. 

I am asking you to help me in giving the underprivileged youth the opportunity to transition into happy, healthy, productive and responsible adults by donating to a cause that facilitates career exploration, college planning and after school programs that give these kids the ability to reach their full potential in life. 

What is YouthPlaces?

YouthPlaces was founded as a community response to an overwhelming need for afterschool programs for teens in high-risk, under served communities. Established in 1997 through the Youth Crime Prevention Council comprised of civic, community and corporate leaders, YouthPlaces began with 5 sites and 500 youth, and has evolved to seventeen sites serving over 4,000 youth annually. In 2005, YouthPlaces incorporated as an independent not-for-profit, and in 2012, YouthPlaces established a hub center on Pittsburgh’s Northside that houses managerial offices and program opportunities.
