My Story…
It has been a few years since I’ve taken up running, so I though it was time I actually try running a race. I’ve chosen to run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in May as my first event. I might not be fast enough to win anything, but I figured I could try to make a difference by running for a cause. For this race I will be raising money for The Homeless Children’s Education Fund, a local Pittsburgh charity that, as the name implies, aids children experiencing homelessness to break the cycle of poverty and build themselves a better future through a proper education. I’m donating the cost of my entry fee, and I’m asking that you help by donating whatever you can.
Thank you,
Joshua Welsh
