My Story…
I am running Pittsburgh’s Half Marathon in support of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund. The mission for the Homeless Children’s Education Fund is to “advance the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness in Southwest PA.” Common goals for the organization are to deliver educational programs, advocate for policies and systems change, and to remove barriers to education advancements for unstably housed children, youth, and families. Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
