My Story…
I am running in support of Beverly's Birthdays organization. They provide birthday celebrations for children facing homelessness and families in need. Their Beverly's Babies division provides critical baby items and life sustaining resources for expecting parents and new babies. This initiative includes managing The Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank. Since volunteering for after-school programs and working in a Children's Hospital, I have seen first hand how vital it is in supporting kids in positive ways, celebrating milestones, and providing resources for new parents. I'm running in this year's Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon for Beverly's Birthdays!
A local organization, Beverly's Birthdays speads cheer 365 days a year by ensuring children and families are celebrated on their special day - their BIRTHday!
By partnering with over 150 social service agencies, and 58 low-income schools, they celebrate over 30,000 BIRTHdays annually through their six programs and the initiatives within them!
