My Story…
A great man once said, "While there is life, there is hope." That great man was Stephen Hawking, the famous physicist who lost his life to ALS in 2018.
My dad, Jerry Rogers, shared Stephen's mindset. He also lost his life in October 2017 after a year and a half long battle with ALS. Dad lived his life to the fullest, took endless risks, and brought a positive outlook to every challenge he met.
For me, supporting the Western PA ALS Association by running in the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay will help me do my part to empower other patients suffering from ALS to embody this mindset, too. Every small donation gets us closer to discovering a cure and gives those navigating their disease resources and support to live their life to the fullest and have hope for the future.
Please donate to this important cause today!
